وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
আৰু অৱশ্যে আমি বনী ইছৰাঈলক কিতাব, কৰ্তৃত্ব আৰু নবুওৱত দান কৰিছিলো আৰু সিহঁতক উত্তম বস্তুৰ পৰা জীৱিকা প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো, লগতে সিহঁতক সকলো সৃষ্টিৰ ওপৰত শ্ৰেষ্ঠত্ব প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো।

45:16 AND, INDEED, [already] unto the children of Israel did We vouchsafe revelation, and wisdom, and prophethood;*1 and We provided for them sustenance out of the good things of life, and favoured them above all other people [of their time]**2(as).

45:16. And We granted Bani-Israel the Divine Code (the government) and sent many
Messengers towards them (3:78; 6:90). We provided them with pleasant subsistence and they were given a distinguished status among the comity of contemporary nations.pz.

وَإِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيقًا يَلْوُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
আৰু নিশ্চয় সিহঁতৰ মাজত এনেকুৱা এটা দল আছে, যিসকলে কিতাবক জিভাৰ দ্বাৰা বিকৃত কৰে যাতে তোমালোকে সেইটোক আল্লাহৰ কিতাবৰ অংশ বুলি ভাৱা; অথচ সেইটো কিতাবৰ অংশ নহয়। সিহঁতে আৰু কয়, ‘এইটো আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা’; অথচ সেইটো আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা নহয়। আৰু সিহঁতে জানি-বুজি আল্লাহৰ ওপৰত মিছা কথা কয়।

أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ ۖ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِهْ ۗ قُلْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
এওঁলোকেই হৈছে সেইসকল লোক, যিসকলক আল্লাহে হিদায়ত কৰিছে, এতেকে তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ পথৰ অনুসৰণ কৰা। কোৱা, ‘ইয়াৰ বাবে আমি তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত পাৰিশ্ৰমিক নিবিচাৰো, এইটো কেৱল সৃষ্টিজগতৰ বাবে উপদেশমাত্ৰ’।)

وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ بَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
আৰু আমি সিহঁতক দ্বীনৰ যাৱতীয় বিষয়ত সুস্পষ্ট প্ৰমাণাদি দান কৰিছিলো। তথাপিও সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত জ্ঞান অহাৰ পিছতো সিহঁতে কেৱল পৰস্পৰে বিদ্বেষবশতঃ মতবিৰোধ কৰিছিল। সিহঁতে যিবোৰ বিষয়ত মতবিৰোধ কৰিছিল, নিশ্চয় তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকে কিয়ামতৰ দিনা সিহঁতৰ মাজত সেইবোৰ বিষয়ৰ ফয়চালা কৰি দিব।

17. The Divine Code which was given to them was very clear. However, they created
factions and fell into schisms due to differences arising out of jealousy and stubbornness, even after receiving the knowledge (of Wahi). (i.e. The reason for their differences and sectarianism was not due to ambiguity in the teachings of Wahi. The teachings were very clear. Differences had developed due to stubbornness and their desire to surpass each other.) Verily your Rabb will decide between them on the Day of Judgment, considering all matters on which they used to differ.pz.

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
তাৰ পিছত আমি তোমাক প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত কৰিছো দ্বীনৰ বিশেষ বিধানৰ ওপৰত; এতেকে তুমি তাৰেই অনুসৰণ কৰা। যিসকলে নাজানে সিহঁতৰ প্ৰবৃত্তিৰ অনুসৰণ নকৰিবা।

18. Thereafter (O Rasool!), We sent you on the clear and right path indicated by Wahi
(42:13). You should keep following it; and ignore the whims and wishes of people who do not know the truth.pz.

۞ شَرَعَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ يُنِيبُ
তেৱেঁই তোমালোকৰ বাবে দ্বীন বিধিবদ্ধ কৰিছে, যাৰ নিৰ্দেশ তেওঁ নূহক প্ৰদান কৰিছিল; আৰু আমি তোমাৰ প্ৰতি ইয়াৰেই অহী প্ৰেৰণ কৰিছো লগতে ইব্ৰাহীম, মুছা আৰু ঈছাকো ইয়াৰ নিৰ্দেশ দিছিলো যে, তোমালোকে দ্বীনক প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত কৰা আৰু ইয়াৰ মাজত বিভেদ সৃষ্টি নকৰিবা। তুমি মুশ্বৰিকসকলক যিটোৰ ফালে আহ্বান কৰি আছা সেয়া সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত কঠিন বুলিহে ধাৰণা হয়। আল্লাহে যাক ইচ্ছা কৰে তাকহে তেওঁৰ দ্বীনৰ প্ৰতি আকৃষ্ট কৰে আৰু যিয়ে তেওঁৰ অভিমুখী হয় তাক তেওঁৰ দ্বীনৰ প্ৰতি হিদায়ত দান কৰে।

إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
নিশ্চয় সিহঁত আল্লাহৰ মোকাবিলাত তোমাৰ কোনো কামত নাহিব, (জানি থোৱা) নিশ্চয় যালিমসকল ইজনে সিজনৰ বন্ধু কিন্তু আল্লাহ কেৱল মুত্তাক্বীসকলৰ বন্ধু।

[45:16] And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') gave (Aatai'naa) the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raaiila) the Book 1
(El'Kitaaba), the Judgement 2
(El'Huk'ma) and Prophethood 3
(Wan' Nubuwwata), and We provided them
(Razaq'naa-hum) with (Mina) good things (Ettoyyibaati) and favoured them (Faddol'naa-hum) over (Ålaa) all
people (El'Åålamiin).
[45:17] And (Wa) We gave them (Aatai'naa-hum) proofs (Bayyinaatin) of the matter (Minal' Am'ri), but (Fa)
they did not (Maa) differ (Ekh'talafuu') except (illa) after (Min Ba'di) what (Maa) had come to them (Jaa'a-
humu) of the knowledge (El' il'mu),
out of injustice (Bag'ya) between them (Bai'nahum’). Indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) will judge (Yaq'dii) between them (Bai'nahum) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal'
Qiyaamati) concerning what (Fiimaa) they have (Kaanu') disagreed (Yakh'talifuun Fiihi).
[45:18] Then (Thumma) We appointed you (s) (Jaål'naa-ka) with (Ålaa) laws (5:48)
(Shariiåtin) of the matter
(Minal' Am'ri); so (Fa) follow it (Et'tabi'haa) and do not (Walaa) follow (Tattabi') the inclinations (Ah'waa'a) of
those who (Ellaziina) do not know (Ya'lamuun).
[45:19] Indeed, they (Innahum) can never (Lan) avail you (s) (Yug'nu' Ån-ka) against GOD (Minallahi) at all
(Shai'an). Indeed (Inna), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) are allies (Aw'liyaau) of each other (Ba'du-hum
Ba'din); and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is the Ally (Waliyyu) of the pious (El'Muttaqiin).
