✔️Pre-Page:

This is the 94th Surah of the Qur’an and it has eight verses. Although primarily addressed to the exalted Messenger, some of these verses apply to every human.(sa).

🦻৯৪:১

 أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

আমি তোমাৰ (কল্যাণৰ) বাবে তোমাৰ বুকু প্ৰশস্ত কৰি দিয়া নাইনে?

মুছাই ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! মোৰ বুকু প্ৰশস্ত কৰি দিয়া।

فَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ ۖ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

এতেকে আল্লাহে কাৰোবাক সৎপথত পৰিচালিত কৰিব বিচাৰিলে তেওঁ তাৰ বুকু ইছলামৰ বাবে প্ৰশস্ত কৰি দিয়ে, আৰু কাৰোবাক বিপথগামী কৰিব বিচাৰিলে তেওঁ তাৰ বুকু অতি সংকীৰ্ণ কৰি দিয়ে, (সেই ব্যক্তিৰ ওচৰত ইছলামৰ অনুসৰণ) এনে লাগে যেন সি বহু কষ্টেৰে আকাশলৈ উঠি আছে। এইদৰেই আল্লাহে শাস্তি দিয়ে সিহঁতক, যিসকলে ঈমান পোষণ নকৰে।

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ

আৰু আমি তোমাৰ পৰা তোমাৰ বোজা অপসাৰণ কৰা নাইনে?

لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا

যাতে আল্লাহে তোমাৰ অতীত আৰু ভৱিষ্যতৰ ত্ৰুটিসমূহ মাৰ্জনা কৰে আৰু তোমাৰ প্ৰতি তেওঁৰ অনুগ্ৰহ পূৰ্ণ কৰে, লগতে তেওঁ যাতে তোমাক সৰল পথৰ হিদায়ত দিয়ে,

✍️Note:

While his character was praiseworthy, the messenger needed guidance in respect of Deen-Islam. Undoubtedly as a human being the messenger made mistakes but God's guidance ensured they were rectified. See verses 33:37; 40:66; 48:2; 66:1-4; 80:1; 93:7.(sig).

الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ

যি বোজাই তোমাৰ পিঠি ভাঙি পেলাইছিল,

✍️Verse/Note:

94:3 that had weighed so heavily on thy back?

Note:

I.e., "the burden of thy past sins, which are now forgiven". In the case of Muhammad, this relates apparently to mistakes committed before his call to prophethood (ibid.), and is obviously an echo of 93:7 - 'Has He not found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee?"(as).

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

আৰু আমিয়েই তোমাৰ (মৰ্যাদা বৃদ্ধিৰ) বাবে তোমাৰ স্মৰণক সমুন্নত কৰিছো।

✍️Verse/Note-sa:

94:4 And We exalted your renown.

And through the revelation to him, gave eminence to mankind! 21:10

( এবং তাঁর কাছে ওহীর মাধ্যমে মানবজাতিকে বিশিষ্টতা দিয়েছেন! ২১:১০)

لَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

অৱশ্যে আমি তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতি কিতাব অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছো য’ত আছে তোমালোকৰ বিষয়েই আলোচনা, তথাপিও তোমালোকে নুবুজিবানে?

94:4 And We raised*1 for thee thy remembrance.*2

*1. Raised, in addition, above the untruths later ascribed to the Messenger both by those openly against him and many of those who claim to follow him. Part of the remit of the Qur’an is to restore the reputations of the messengers of God of previous times from the insinuations and calumnies levelled against them — most often at the hands of those who claim to follow them.

(ইয়াৰ উপৰিও পিছলৈ ৰাছুলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মুকলিকৈ বিৰোধী আৰু তেওঁক অনুসৰণ কৰা বুলি দাবী কৰা বহুতেই ৰাছুলৰ ওপৰত আৰোপ কৰা অসত্যৰ ওপৰত উত্থাপন কৰা হৈছে।  কোৰআনৰ দায়িত্বৰ এটা অংশ হ’ল পূৰ্বৰ সময়ৰ আল্লাহৰ ৰাছুলসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কৰা ইংগিত আৰু নিন্দাবোৰৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকৰ সুনাম ঘূৰাই অনা — বেছিভাগ সময়তে তেওঁলোকক অনুসৰণ কৰা বুলি দাবী কৰাসকলৰ হাতত।)

*2. Arabic: dhikr — calling to mind, recalling, reminding; remembrance (of something past); history.

🦻৯৪:৫

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

এতেকে দুখৰ লগতেই আছে সুখ

✍️Note:

The society that is civilised, cultured and united is the Ummah of the Quran as referred to in verse 3:103 and also mentioned in the verse 2:143: "We thus made you a justly balance community (Arabic: Ummah). This is the reason for the Quran’s emphasis on communal life and for its disapproval of monasticism. Goethe once remarked that character is formed not in solitude, but in 

the hurly-burly of life. The self shrinks and contracts in solitude, while it grows and expands through active and continuous participation in social activities. A harmonious, well-knit and integrated 

personality can take shape only in a balanced and concordant society. The human mind is the arena of conflicting desires. Society too carries the seed of discord as it is composed of individuals with different and often opposed tastes, interests and aims. In society the resulting conflicts should not be 

resolved by suppressing one party and giving free rein to the other. The true solution lies in mutual adjustment, in reconciling one to the other and in discovering an activity or a way of life which affords reasonable satisfaction to rivals. Balance and proportion should characterise personality as well as society. How can human personality acquire proportion? The answer is that it can do so only by taking as its model the Divine Attributes which underpin the Quranic Permanent Values. See verses 57:27; 112:1-4 and verses 47:38; 65:11 and verse 90:4.(sig).

নিশ্চয় দুখৰ লগতেই আছে সুখ।

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ

এতেকে যেতিয়াই তুমি অৱসৰ পোৱা তেতিয়াই কঠোৰ ইবাদতত আত্মনিয়োগ কৰা।

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ

আৰু তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ প্ৰতি গভীৰ মনোযোগী হোৱা।

 إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ

যেতিয়া আল্লাহৰ সহায় আৰু বিজয় আহিব,

১১০:২

وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا

আৰু তুমি মানুহক দলে দলে আল্লাহৰ দ্বীনত প্ৰৱেশ কৰোতে দেখিবা,

১১০:৩

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا

তেতিয়া তুমি তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ প্ৰশংসাসহ তেওঁৰ পৱিত্ৰতা আৰু মহিমা ঘোষণা কৰিবা আৰু তেওঁৰ ওচৰত ক্ষমা প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিবা, নিশ্চয় তেওঁ তাওবা গ্ৰহণকাৰী।

In the name of GOD (Bis'mi-llahi), the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim).

[94:1] Did We not (Alam') expound (-Nash'rah')* your bosom (Sod'ra-ka) for you (s) (Laka)? 

(20:25)

[94:2] And (Wa) We put down (Wado'naa) your burden (Wiz'ra-ka) from you (s) (Ånka)

[94:3] which (Ellazii) had overloaded (Anqado) your back (s) (Zoh'ra-ka)

[94:4] and (Wa) raised (Rafa'naa) your reputation (Zik'ra-ka) for you (s) (Laka)? 

[94:5] For (Fa) indeed (Inna), with (Maå) hardship (El'Us'ri)

there will be ease (Yus'raa). 

[94:6] Indeed (Inna), with (Maå) hardship (El'Us'ri)

there will be ease (Yus'raa). 

[94:7] So (Fa) when (Izaa) you (s) are vacant (unoccupied) (Farag'ta), then (Fa) toil (Ensob’),

[94:8] and (Wa) then (Fa) wish (Er'gab) to (ilaa) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka).
