আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি তোমাৰ ফালে জিনৰ এটা দল আনিছিলো। যিসকলে মনোযোগ সহকাৰে কোৰআন পাঠ শুনি আছিল। এতেকে যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত হৈছিল, তেওঁলোকে পৰস্পৰে কৈছিল, ‘মনে মনে শুনা’। তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া কোৰআন পাঠ সমাপ্ত হ’ল তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে সতৰ্ককাৰীৰূপে নিজ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ ওচৰত উভতি গ’ল।

72:1 Say thou: “It is revealed1* to me, that2* a band3* of the domini listened in, and they said: ‘We have heard an amazing recitation.

2*. Many chapters have defining characteristics. Here that characteristic is annahu or that (it), and closely-related constructions. The verse at 72:1 identifies what was revealed to the Messenger,....
3*. Arabic: nafar: men (as a collective); band, party, troop. This word is used in the opening verse of both segments which deal most extensively with al jinn in the Qur’an: 46:29-31 and 72:1-14 . The construction has a partitive emphasis: it is ‘a band of the domini’ (i.e. some portion of the total number of domini), not all members of that group. This nuance will be of increasing interest as we progress through the present sūrah.

‘আৰু নিশ্চয় সিহঁতেও ধাৰণা কৰিছিল যেনেকৈ তোমালোকে ধাৰণা কৰিছা যে, আল্লাহে কাকো কেতিয়াও পুনৰুত্থিত নকৰিব’।

‘আৰু নিশ্চয় আমি আকাশৰ তথ্য সংগ্ৰহ কৰিব বিচাৰিছিলো, কিন্তু আমি দেখিলো যে, আকাশখন কঠোৰ প্ৰহৰী আৰু উল্কাপিণ্ডৰ দ্বাৰা পৰিপূৰ্ণ;🌞

وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ
আৰু প্ৰত্যেক অভিশপ্ত চয়তানৰ পৰা আমি সেইবোৰক সুৰক্ষিত কৰিছো;
১৫:১৮
إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُبِينٌ
কিন্তু কোনোবাই লুকাই-চুৰকৈ শুনিব ধৰিলে প্ৰদীপ্ত শিখাই তাৰ পিছ লয়।

72:8. (Influenced by such beliefs we used to think that our priests, astrologers and
soothsayers, through their astrology or clairvoyance) They find out the secrets of the
heavens. However (since the Quran has come before us, we are convinced that it is
beyond human ability to find out these secrets and) we now know that the heavens
are being guarded by mighty watchmen holding whips of shooting flames in their
hands (15:17-18-see the verses above).pz.

وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَنْ يَسْتَمِعِ الْآنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَصَدًا
‘আৰু আমি আগতে আকাশৰ বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটিত সংবাদ শুনাৰ বাবে বহিছিলো কিন্তু এতিয়া কোনোবাই সংবাদ শুনিব বিচাৰিলে সি তাৰ ওপৰত নিক্ষেপৰ বাবে প্ৰস্তুত জলন্ত উল্কাপিণ্ডৰ সন্মুখীন হয়।

72:9. Earlier we believed that while sitting in (hidden but) well established stations, we can listen to heavenly talk. But now, whoever tries to listen is
confronted with the shining flames (of intellect and knowledge). The era of
soothsayers is thus over for the Quran has changed our views. (37:6-9; 67:5)

لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
ফলত সিহঁতে উৰ্দ্ধজগতৰ একোৱে শুনিব নোৱাৰে, কাৰণ কেউফালৰ পৰা সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতি নিক্ষেপ কৰা হয় (উল্কাপিণ্ড),

دُحُورًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
সিহঁতক খেদি পঠিওৱাৰ বাবে, আৰু সিহঁতৰ বাবে আছে অবিৰাম শাস্তি।

In the name of GOD (Bis'mi-llahi), the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim).
[72:1] Say (Qul'): "It has been inspired (Uuhiya) to me (ilayya) that (Annahu) a troop (Nafarun) of (Mina) the
jinn (El'Jinni)* listened (Es'tamaå) and (Fa) said (Qaaluu'), ‘Indeed (Innaa), we have heard (Sami'naa) an
amazing (Åjabaa) reading (Qur'aanan).
(46:29)
[72:2] ‘It guides (Yah'dii) to (ilaa) the right guidance (2:256)
(Er'Rush'di), so (Fa) we have believed (Aamannaa)
in it (Bihi). And (Wa) we will never (Lan) associate (idolize) (-Nush'rika) anyone (Ahadaa) with (Bi) our LORD
(Rabbi-naa),
[72:3] and (Wa) that it (Annahu) exalts (Ta'åålaa) the fortune (Jaddu) of our LORD (Rabbi-naa); HE does not
(Maa) have (Ettakhaza) a mate (f) (Soahibatan) nor (Walaa) a son (Waladaa). (6:101)
[72:4] ‘And (Wa) that it (Annahu) has been (Kaana) our foolishness (Safiihu-naa) saying (Yaquulu) excess
(Shatotoa) about GOD (Ålaallahi).
[72:5] ‘And (Wa) that (Anna) we thought (Zonannaa) that (An) mankind (El' Insu) and the jinn (Wal' Jinnu)
would never (Lan) tell (Taquula) a lie (Kazibaa) about GOD (Ålaallahi).
[72:6] ‘And (Wa) that (Annahu) there were (Kaana) men (Rijaalun) among (Mina) mankind (El' Insi) who sought protection (Yauuzuuna) with (Bi) men (Rijaalin) among (Mina) the jinn (El'Jinni), but (Fa) they
increased them (Zaaduu-hum) in burden (Rahaqaa).
[72:7] ‘And (Wa) that they (the humans) (Annahum) thought (Zonnu') as (Kama) you (the jinn) thought (Zonantum’)
that (An) GOD (Ellahu) will never (Lan) send (Yab'åtha) anyone (Ahadaa).
[72:8] ‘And (Wa) that (Anna) we touched (Lamas'naa) the sky (Es'Samaa'a) and (Fa) found it (Wajad'naa-ha)
filled (Muliat') with strong (Shadiidaan) guards (Harasaan) and (Wa) meteors (Shuhubaa),
[72:9] and (Wa) that (Anna) we used to (Kunnaa) be seated (Naq'udu) in seats (Maqaaeda) to listen (Lis’
Sam'e) therefrom (Min'haa), but (Fa) whoever (Man) listens (Yas'tamie) now (El'Aana) will find (Yajid') for
himself (Lahu) a surveillance (Rasodaa) meteor (Shihaaban).
