⭕৪২:১৬

وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

আল্লাহৰ আহ্বানত সঁহাৰি দিয়াৰ পিছতো যিসকলে আল্লাহ সম্পৰ্কে বিতৰ্ক কৰে, সিহঁতৰ যুক্তি-তৰ্ক সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ দৃষ্টিত অসাৰ আৰু সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত আছে তেওঁৰ ক্ৰোধ আৰু আছে সিহঁতৰ বাবে কঠিন শাস্তি।

وَإِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ قَالُوا أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُمْ بِمَا فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَاجُّوكُمْ بِهِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতে মুমিনসকলৰ লগত সাক্ষাৎ কৰে তেতিয়া কয়, ‘আমি ঈমান আনিছো’। আকৌ যেতিয়া সিহঁতে গোপনে ইজনে সিজনৰ লগত মিলিত হয় তেতিয়া কয়, তোমালোকে সিহঁতৰ লগত এনে কথা আলোচনা কৰা নেকি যিবোৰ আল্লাহে তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত উন্মুক্ত কৰি দিছে ; যাতে সিহঁতে ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰা তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত তোমালোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে প্ৰমাণ দাঙি ধৰিব? তোমালোকে বুজি নোপোৱা নেকি’?)

اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ

তেৱেঁই আল্লাহ, যিজনে সত্য সহকাৰে কিতাব আৰু মীজান অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে। কিহে তোমাক জনাব যে, সম্ভৱত কিয়ামত অতি নিকটৱৰ্তী?

42:17 [for] it is God [Himself] who has bestowed revelation from on high, setting forth the truth, and [thus given man] a balance [wherewith to weigh right and wrong].# And for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!

The above two interpolations are based on 57:25, where the idea underlying this verse has been stated clearly. The implication is that since God Himself has given man, through successive revelations, a standard whereby to discern between right and wrong, it is presumptuous and futile to argue about the nature of His Being and His ultimate judgment: hence the reference, in the second half of this and the next verse, to the Last Hour and, thus, the Day of Judgment(as).(+55:7-9)

لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنْزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَنْزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ

يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

যিসকলে ইয়াৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান পোষণ নকৰে সিহঁতেই ইয়াক ত্বৰান্বিত কৰিব বিচাৰে। আৰু যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে তেওঁলোকে ইয়াৰ পৰা ভীত হৈ থাকে আৰু তেওঁলোকে জানে যে, এয়া নিশ্চিতভাৱে সত্য। জানি থোৱা, নিশ্চয় কিয়ামত সম্পৰ্কে যিসকলে বাক-বিতণ্ডা কৰে সিহঁতে ঘোৰ বিভ্ৰান্তিত নিপতিত।

اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ

আল্লাহ তেওঁৰ বান্দাসকলৰ প্ৰতি অত্যন্ত কোমল; তেওঁ যাক ইচ্ছা কৰে জীৱিকা দান কৰে। তেওঁ সৰ্বশক্তিমান. প্ৰবল পৰাক্ৰমশালী।

42:19 God is Sublime, Aware of the minutest needs of His servants. He provides for them (even if they deny Him) according to His laws. And He is the Strong, the Mighty.(sa).

مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ نَصِيبٍ

যিয়ে আখিৰাতৰ ফচল কামনা কৰে তাৰ বাবে আমি তাৰ ফচল বৃদ্ধি কৰি দিওঁ আৰু যিয়ে পৃথিৱীৰ ফচল* কামনা কৰে আমি তাক তাৰ পৰা অকণমান দিওঁ। কিন্তু আখিৰাতত তাৰ বাবে একো নাথাকিব।

42:20. Amongst the seekers of sustenance there are two groups of people. One desires the 

pleasures of life, both in this world and in the hereafter. For them We continue adding to 

the fruits of their efforts. Both their present and future are bright. The other group seeks 

only the material gains in the present worldly life. We do give them ample reward for their effort in this world, but they have no share in the pleasures of the future. (17:19-21)

(১৭:১৯-২১

وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُمْ مَشْكُورًا

আৰু যিসকলে মুমিন হৈ আখিৰাত কামনা কৰে আৰু তাৰ বাবে যথাযথ চেষ্টা কৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰচেষ্টা পুৰস্কাৰযোগ্য।

১৭:২০

كُلًّا نُمِدُّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ وَهَٰؤُلَاءِ مِنْ عَطَاءِ رَبِّكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَاءُ رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورًا

তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ দানৰ পৰা আমি ইহঁতৰ আৰু সিহঁতৰ প্ৰত্যেককে সহায় কৰোঁ আৰু তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ দান অবাৰিত (বাধাহীন, কোনেও প্ৰতিৰোধ কৰিব নোৱাৰে)।

انْظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَلَلْآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيلًا

অথবা সিহঁতৰ এনে কিছুমান অংশী আছে নেকি, যিবিলাকে সিহঁতৰ বাবে দ্বীনৰ পৰা চৰীয়ত* প্ৰৱৰ্তন কৰিছে, যাৰ অনুমতি আল্লাহে দিয়া নাই? আৰু মীমাংসাৰ ঘোষণা নাথাকিলে অৱশ্যে সিহঁতৰ মাজত সিদ্ধান্ত হৈ গ’লহেঁতেন। নিশ্চয় যালিমসকলৰ বাবে আছে যন্ত্ৰণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

اتَّخَذُوا أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে সিহঁতৰ পণ্ডিত আৰু সংসাৰ-বিৰাগীসকলক সিহঁতৰ ৰবৰূপে গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে আৰু মাৰইয়ামৰ পুত্ৰ মছীহকো। অথচ এক ইলাহৰ ইবাদত কৰাৰ বাবেই তেওঁলোক আদিষ্ট হৈছিল। যাৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো সত্য ইলাহ নাই।[1] সিহঁতে যি অংশী স্থাপন কৰে তাৰ পৰা তেওঁ অতি পৱিত্ৰ!

[42:16] And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) argue (Yuhaajjuuna) about GOD (Fiillahi) after (Min Ba'di) what 

(Maa) HE has responded to (Es'tujiiba Lahu); their argument (Hujjatu-hum) is invalid (Daahidatun) with

(Enda) their LORD (Rabbi-him) and upon them (Ålai'him) is the wrath (Gadobun), and (Wa) they will have 

(Lahum) a severe (Shadiid) punishment (Åzaabun). 

[42:17] GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) has revealed (Anzala) the Book (El'Kitaaba) with the truth 1

(Bil' Haqqi) and the balance 2

(Wal' Miizaan), as well as (Wa) that which (Maa) will make you know 

(Yud'rii-ka) perhaps (Laålla) the Hour (Es'Saa'åta) is near 3

(Qariib).

[42:18] Those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in it (Bihaa) are hastening for it (Yas'ta'jilu

Bi-haa), but (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') are fearful (Mush'fiquuna) thereof (Min'ha) and 

(Wa) they know (Ya'lamuuna) that it (Annaha) is the truth (El'Haqqu). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), those who 

dispute (Yumaaruuna) about (Fii) the Hour (Es'Saa'åti) are in (Lafii) distant (Baeed) error (Dolaali).

[42:19] GOD (Ellahu) is affable to (Latiifu Bi) HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi); HE provides for (Yar'zuqu)

whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaa'u), for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the POWERFUL (El' Qawiyyu), the ALMIGHTY

(El' Åziiz).

[42:20] Whoever (Man Kaana) desires (Yuriidu) the cultivation (Har'tha) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati); We 

increase (Nazid') for him (Lahu) in (Fii) his cultivation (Har'thi-hi). And (Wa) whoever (Man Kaana) desires 

(Yuriidu) the cultivation (Har'tha) of the world (11:15) (Ed'Dun'yaa); We give him (Nu'ti-hi) thereof (Min'haa), but (Wa) he will have (Lahu) no (Maa Min) share (Nasiib) in the hereafter (Fiil' Aakhirati). 

[42:21] Or (Am') do they have (Lahum) associates (idols) (Shurakaau) who have legislated (42:13) (Sharau') for 

them (Lahum) of (Mina) a religion (Ed'Diini) to (Bihi) which (Maa) GOD (Ellahu) has not (Lam') authorized 

(Ya'zanu)? And (Wa) if not for (Law'laa) the decisive (El'Fas'li) word (Kalimatu), HE would have (La) judged 

(Qudiya) between them (Bai'nahum’). Indeed (Inna), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) will have (Lahum) a 

painful (Aliim) punishment (Åzaabun).
