🟨৪০:২৩(MOSES AND FIRAWN).

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ

আৰু অৱশ্যে আমি মুছাক আমাৰ নিদৰ্শন আৰু সুস্পষ্ট প্ৰমাণসহ প্ৰেৰণ কৰিছিলো,

40:23-24. (From historical evidence, consider the case of Pharaoh’s nation as an example.) We had sent Moses to Pharaoh (the embodiment of oppression and dictatorship), Haman (the diehard leader of the priests) and Korab (the symbol of capitalism) with Our Laws and explicit evidence. (The Laws that Moses had brought directly effected all three of them.)Therefore they dubbed him an illusionist and a liar.pz.

إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَقَارُونَ فَقَالُوا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ

ফিৰআউন, হামান আৰু কাৰূনৰ ওচৰত। কিন্তু সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘যাদুকৰ, চৰম মিছলীয়া’।

🟨৪০:২৫

فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا قَالُوا اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاءَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ

তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া মুছাই আমাৰ তৰফৰ পৰা সত্য লৈ সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত হ’ল, সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘মুছাৰ লগত যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে, সিহঁতৰ পুত্ৰ সন্তানবিলাকক হত্যা কৰা আৰু সিহঁতৰ নাৰীসকলক জীৱিত এৰি দিয়া’। আৰু কাফিৰসকলৰ ষড়যন্ত্ৰ কেৱল ব্যৰ্থহে হয়।

40:25. Although (as has been mentioned afore) He had brought the truth to them, they had no argument to appropriately rebut him. (Therefore they started using tactics which are normally used by people who are intoxicated with power.) They decided that the respectable people (from amongst those who believe in Moses’s God and joined his group of companions, should be humiliated. On the other hand, those amongst the Bani-Israel

who are meek and lack any quality of manliness, should be elevated to the corridors of power. And by using these tactics, they hoped to break the collective power of Moses’

group ~ 2:49; 7:127.) None of their tactics worked (as the world ultimately saw).pz.

(২:৪৯

وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি তোমালোকক ফিৰআউনৰ বংশৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা কৰিছিলো। সিহঁতে তোমালোকক বৰ কঠিন শাস্তি দিছিল। তোমালোকৰ পুত্ৰ সন্তানক হত্যা কৰিছিল আৰু কন্যা সন্তানক জীয়াই ৰাখিছিল । আৰু ইয়াত আছিল তোমালোকৰ বাবে তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ পৰা এক মহা পৰীক্ষা।

(Note: In addition to killing the newborn boys, as a matter of state policy, Pharaoh humiliated the strong and left the vulnerable for slavery and shameful acts. Abna = Sons = Strong ones. Nisaa = Females = Women = Weak ones. Yastahyoon carries the connotation of ‘letting live’ as well as ‘in shame’. Yasoomoon = Selecting, choosing. This is what a tyrannical system does. 7:141, 27:34, 28:4, 40:25).

وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْ قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَىٰ وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَآلِهَتَكَ ۚ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءَهُمْ وَإِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَاهِرُونَ

আৰু ফিৰআউন সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ নেতাসকলে ক’লে, ‘আপুনি মুছাক আৰু তেওঁৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ক পৃথিৱীত বিপৰ্যয় সৃষ্টি কৰিবলৈ আৰু আপোনাক লগতে আপোনাৰ উপাস্যসমূহক বৰ্জন কৰিবলৈ এৰি দিব নেকি? সি ক’লে, ‘শীঘ্ৰেই আমি সিহঁতৰ পুত্ৰসকলক হত্যা কৰিম আৰু সিহঁতৰ নাৰীসকলক জীৱিত ৰাখিম। নিশ্চয় আমি সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত শক্তিধৰ’।

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ

আৰু ফিৰআউনে ক’লে, ‘মোক এৰি দিয়া মই মুছাক হত্যা কৰিম আৰু সি তাৰ প্ৰতিপালকক আহ্বান কৰক। নিশ্চয় মই আশংকা কৰো যে, সি তোমালোকৰ দ্বীন পৰিবৰ্তন কৰি দিব অথবা সি দেশত বিপৰ্যয় বিয়পাব’।

Most people follow a deen, a system of sorts, not a system such as the Deen-Islam. No doubt Firawn's people had their own system, a religion of some kind. There is a vast difference between man's system and God's System, the Quranic social order: the Deen-Islam. See verse 3:85.(sig).

(৩:৮৫

وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

আৰু যিয়ে ইছলামৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো দ্বীন সন্ধান কৰিব তাৰ পৰা কেতিয়াও সেয়া গ্ৰহণ কৰা নহ’ব আৰু সি পৰকালত ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্তসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হ’ব।

🟨৪০:২৭

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ

মুছাই ক’লে, ‘মই মোৰ প্ৰতিপালক আৰু (যিজন) তোমালোকৰো প্ৰতিপালক তেওঁৰ ওচৰত আশ্ৰয় প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিছো এনেকুৱা প্ৰত্যেক অহংকাৰীৰ পৰা যিয়ে বিচাৰ দিৱসৰ ওপৰত ঈমান পোষণ নকৰে’।

🟨৪০:২৮

وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَانَهُ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَنْ يَقُولَ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَكُ كَاذِبًا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُ ۖ وَإِنْ يَكُ صَادِقًا يُصِبْكُمْ بَعْضُ الَّذِي يَعِدُكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ

আৰু ফিৰআউন বংশৰ এজন মুমিন ব্যক্তি যিজনে নিজৰ ঈমান গোপন ৰাখিছিল তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে এজন ব্যক্তিক এইকাৰণে হত্যা কৰিবা নেকি যে, তেওঁ কয়, ‘মোৰ ৰব কেৱল আল্লাহ’, অথচ তেওঁ তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা সুস্পষ্ট প্ৰমাণসহ তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত আহিছে? তেওঁ যদি মিছলীয়া হয় তাৰ বাবে দায়ী তেওঁ নিজেই হ’ব, আৰু যদি তেওঁ সত্যবাদী হয় তেন্তে তেওঁ তোমালোকক যি প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছে, তাৰ কিছুমান পৰিমাণ তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত আপতিত হ’ব’। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে সেই ব্যক্তিক হিদায়ত নকৰে, যি ব্যক্তি সীমালংঘনকাৰী, মিছলীয়া।

These verses have prophetic fulfillment in our times. The Arabic text contains supportive clues for those who witnessed the fulfillment of the prophecy. Unappreciative people, who will try to cover the clear prophecies, will resort to Pharaoh's statement. The prophetic nature of these verses is highlighted by the statement of the monotheist in verse 40:44. Verses 40:78 also have multiple references. See 3:81; 40:44; 72:24; 74:1.(edip).

🟨৪০:২৯

يَا قَوْمِ لَكُمُ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ ظَاهِرِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَنْ يَنْصُرُنَا مِنْ بَأْسِ اللَّهِ إِنْ جَاءَنَا ۚ قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَا أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَرَىٰ وَمَا أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ

‘হে মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়! আজি তোমালোকৰেই ৰাজত্ব, পৃথিৱীত তোমালোকেই প্ৰভাৱশালী; কিন্তু আল্লাহৰ শাস্তি আহিলে কোনে আমাক সহায় কৰিব’? ফিৰআউনে ক’লে, ‘মই যিটো সঠিক বুলি ভাৱোঁ, সেইটোৱেই তোমালোকক দেখুৱাওঁ আৰু মই তোমালোকক কেৱল সঠিক পথহে দেখুৱাওঁ’।

মুছাই ক’লে, ‘তুমি অৱশ্যে জানা যে, এইবোৰ স্পষ্ট নিদৰ্শন আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ প্ৰতিপালকেই অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে—প্ৰত্যক্ষ প্ৰমাণস্বৰূপে। ‘হে ফিৰআউন! মোৰ মতে তুমি এজন ধ্বংসপ্ৰাপ্ত’।

২৭:১৪

وَجَحَدُوا بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَا أَنْفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

সিহঁতে অন্যায় আৰু উদ্ধতভাৱে নিদৰ্শনসমূহ প্ৰত্যাখ্যান কৰিলে, যদিও সিহঁতৰ অন্তৰে এইবোৰক নিশ্চিত সত্য বুলি গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল। এতেকে চোৱা, বিপৰ্যয় সৃষ্টিকাৰীবিলাকৰ পৰিণাম কি হৈছিল!

১১:৯৭

إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَاتَّبَعُوا أَمْرَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۖ وَمَا أَمْرُ فِرْعَوْنَ بِرَشِيدٍ

ফিৰআউন আৰু তাৰ নেতৃবৃন্দৰ ওচৰলৈ। কিন্তু নেতাসকলে ফিৰআউনৰ কাৰ্যকলাপৰ অনুসৰণ কৰিছিল; অথচ ফিৰআউনৰ কাৰ্যকলাপ সঠিক নাছিল।

وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُ وَمَا هَدَىٰ

কাৰণ ফিৰআউনে তাৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিছিল আৰু সৎপথ দেখুৱা নাছিল।

وَقَالَ الَّذِي آمَنَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِثْلَ يَوْمِ الْأَحْزَابِ

মুমিন ব্যক্তিজনে আৰু ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়! নিশ্চয় মই তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিও সেই দিনটোৰ আশংকা কৰো যিটো পূৰ্বৱৰ্তী দলসমূহৰ ওপৰত আহিছিল;

🟨৪০:৩১

مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِلْعِبَادِ

‘যিদৰে সংঘটিত হৈছিল, নূহ, আদ, ছামূদ আৰু সিহঁতৰ পৰৱৰ্তী লোকসকলৰ লগত। আল্লাহে বান্দাসকলৰ ওপৰত কোনো অন্যায় কৰিব নিবিচাৰে।

I.e., those sinners were not wronged by what befell them in this world: they had deserved it. The next two verses refer to the Day of Judgment.(as).

[40:23] And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) with (Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa)

and (Wa) a clear (Mubiin) authority (Sul'toanin)

[40:24] to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'åw'na), Haman (Haamaana), and (Wa) Croesus (Qaaruuna); but (Fa) they said 

(Qaalu'), "A sorcerer (Saahirun) and a liar (Kazzaab)."

[40:25] And (Fa) when (Lamma) he (Moses) brought them (Jaa'ahum Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) from Us (Min'

Endi-naa), they said (Qaalu'), "Kill (Eq'tuluu') the sons (Ab'naa'a) of those who (Ellaziina) have believed 

(Aamanu') with him (Maåhu) and keep their women (Nisaa'a-hum’) alive (-Es'tah'yu')." But (Wa) the scheme 

(Kai'du) of the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) was only (Maa illa) in (Fii) error (Dolaal).

[40:26] And (Wa) Pharaoh (Fir'åw'nu) said (Qaala), "Let me (Zaruu-nii) kill (Aq'tul') Moses (Muusaa) and let 

(Wal') him invoke (Yad'u) his LORD (Rabba-hu). Indeed, I (Innii) fear (Akhaafu) that (An) he will change 

(Yubaddila) your religion (Diina-kum’) or (Aw') that (An) he will manifest (Yuz'hira) corruption (El'Fasaad)

in the land (Fiil' Ar'di)."

[40:27] And (Wa) Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala), "I have (Innii) sought protection (Uz'tu) with (Bi) my LORD 

(Rabbii) and (Wa) your LORD (Rabbi-kum) from (Min) every (Kulli) arrogant person (Mutakabbarin) who does 

not (Laa) believe (Yu'minu) in (Bi) the Day of Reckoning (Yaw'mil' Hisaab)."

[40:28] And (Wa) a believing (Mu'minun) man (Rajulun) from (Min') the people (Aali) of Pharaoh 

(Fir'åw'na) concealing (Yak'tumu) his faith (iimaana-hu) said (Qaala), "Will you kill (Ataq'tuluuna) a man 

(Rajulan) because (An) he says (Yaquula), "My LORD (Rabbiya) is GOD (Ellahu) and has (Qad') brought you 

(Jaa'a-kum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum)? If (In) he should be (Yaku) lying 

(Kaaziban), then (Fa) upon him (Ålai'hi) is his lie (Kazibu-hu); and if (In) he should be (Yaku) truthful 

(Soadiqan), some (Ba'du) of what (Ellazii) he promises you (Yaedu-kum) will befall you (Yusib'kum). Indeed, 

GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) guide (Yah'dii) one who (Man') is (Huwa) a profligate (Mus'rifun) and a liar 

(Kazzaab)." 

[40:29] "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), today (El'Yaw'ma) sovereignty (El'Mul'ku) of dominating (Zoahiriina)

in the land (Fiil' Ar'di) belongs to you (Lakumu), but (Fa) who (Man) would help us (Yansuru-naa) from 

(Min) the torment of GOD (Ba'si-llahi) if (In) it came to us (Jaa'a-naa)?" Pharaoh (Fir'åw'nu) said (Qaala), "I 

only (Maa illa) show you (Urii-kum) what (Maa) I see (Araa) and (Wa) I only (Maa illa) guide you (Ah'dii-

kum) to the way (Sabiila) of right guidance (Er'Rashaad)." 

[40:30] And (Wa) the one who (Ellazii) believed (Aamana) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), I 

(Innii) fear (Akhaafu) for you (Ålai'kum) like (Mith'la) the time (Yaw'mi) of the parties (El'Ah'zaab);

[40:31] like (Mith'la) the habit (Da'bi) of the people (Qaw'mi) of Noah (Nuuhin), Ad (Åådin), Thamud 

(Thamuuda), and (Wa) those (Ellaziina) after them (Min Ba'di-him)." And (Wa) GOD (Ellaziina) does not 

(Maa) intend (Yuriidu)

any injustice (Zul'man) for the servants (mankind) (Lil' Ebaadi).
