قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا ۚ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِيهَا ۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

ইব্ৰাহীমে ক’লে, ‘নিশ্চয় এই জনপদত দেখোন লূতো আছে। তেওঁলোকে ক'লে, তাত কোন কোন আছে সেয়া আমি ভালকৈয়ে জানো, নিশ্চয় আমি লূতক আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰিয়ালবৰ্গক ৰক্ষা কৰিম, কেৱল তেওঁৰ স্ত্ৰীৰ বাহিৰে, তাই পিছত অৱস্থানকাৰীবিলাকৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত।

وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ ۖ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

আৰু যেতিয়া আমাৰ প্ৰেৰিত ফিৰিস্তাসকল লূতৰ ওচৰত আহিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে তেওঁ বিষণ্ণ হৈ পৰিল আৰু নিজকে তেওঁলোকক ৰক্ষা কৰিবলৈ অসমৰ্থ বুলি ভাৱিলে*। তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, ‘ভয় নকৰিব, চিন্তাও নকৰিব, নিশ্চয় আমি আপোনাক আৰু আপোনাৰ পৰিয়ালক ৰক্ষা কৰিম, কেৱল আপোনাৰ স্ত্ৰীৰ বাহিৰে; তাই হৈছে পিছত অৱস্থানকাৰী বিলাকৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত;

وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَصِيبٌ

আৰু যেতিয়া আমাৰ প্ৰেৰিত ফিৰিস্তাসকল লূতৰ ওচৰত আহিলে তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ আগমনত তেওঁ বিষণ্ন হ’ল আৰু নিজকে তেওঁলোকৰ ৰক্ষাত অসমৰ্থ বুলি ভাৱিলে আৰু ক’লে, ‘এইটো বৰ বিপদৰ দিন’!

⚫২৯:৩৪

إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ

‘নিশ্চয় আমি এই জনপদবাসী বিলাকৰ ওপৰত শাস্তি অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিম, কাৰণ সিহঁত মহাপাপত লিপ্ত আছিল’।

⚫২৯:৩৫

وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

আৰু অৱশ্যে আমি ইয়াত বোধশক্তিসম্পন্ন সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ বাবে এটা স্পষ্ট নিদৰ্শন ৰাখিছো।

✍️Verse/note of Asad:

29:35 And [so it happened; and] thereof, indeed, We have left a clear sign for people who use their reason.

Note.

This is an allusion to the Dead Sea - known to this day as Bahr Lut ("The Sea of Lot") - which covers most of the region in which Sodom and Gomorrah were once situated. Its waters contain so high a percentage of sulphur and potash that no fish or plants can live in them(as).

وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارْجُوا الْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

আৰু মাদিয়ানবাসীৰ ওচৰত প্ৰেৰণ কৰিছিলো সিহঁতৰ ভাতৃ ছুৱাইবক*। তাৰ পিছত তেওঁ কৈছিল, ‘হে মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়! তোমালোকে কেৱল আল্লাহৰ ইবাদত কৰা আৰু শেষ দিৱসৰ আশা কৰা আৰু পৃথিৱীত বিপৰ্যয় সৃষ্টি কৰি নুফুৰিবা’।

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

তথাপিও সিহঁতে তেওঁক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিলে; ফলত সিহঁত ভূমিকম্পৰ দ্বাৰা আক্ৰান্ত হৈ নিজ নিজ ঘৰত নতজানু অৱস্থাত শেষ হৈ গ’ল।

২৬:১৮৯

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

এতেকে সিহঁতে তেওঁক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিলে। ফলত সিহঁতক মেঘাচ্ছন্ন দিনৰ শাস্তিয়ে গ্ৰাস কৰিলে। নিশ্চয় এয়া আছিল এটা ভীষণ দিনৰ শাস্তি।

⚫২৯:৩৮

وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ

আদ** আৰু ছামূদক* আমিয়ে ধ্বংস কৰিছিলো, সিহঁতৰ ঘৰ-দুৱাৰ কিছুমান তোমালোকৰ বাবে উন্মোচিত হৈছে। চয়তানে সিহঁতৰ কৰ্মক সিহঁতৰ দৃষ্টিত শোভনীয় কৰি দিছিল আৰু সিহঁতক সৎপথ অৱলম্বনত বাধা দিছিল, যদিও সিহঁত আছিল অতি বিচক্ষণ।

⚫২৯:৩৯

وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ

আৰু আমি ধ্বংস কৰিছিলো ক্বাৰূন, ফিৰআউন আৰু হামানক। অৱশ্যে মুছা সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত সুস্পষ্ট নিদৰ্শনসহ আহিছিল; তথাপিও সিহঁতে পৃথিৱীত অহংকাৰ কৰিছিল; কিন্তু সিহঁতে মোৰ শাস্তিৰ পৰা বাচিব পৰা নাই।

فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنْبِهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَغْرَقْنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

এতেকে সিহঁতৰ প্ৰত্যেককে নিজ নিজ অপৰাধৰ বাবে আমি সিহঁতক ধৰিছিলো। সিহঁতৰ কিছুমানৰ ওপৰত আমি পঠাইছিলো শিলাবৃষ্টি সম্পন্ন প্ৰচণ্ড ধুমুহা, লগতে সিহঁতৰ কিছুমানক আক্ৰমণ কৰিছিল বিকট চিঞঁৰে*, আৰু কিছুমানক পুতি পেলাইছিলো ভূগৰ্ভত আৰু কিছুমানক ডুবাই মাৰিছিলো। আৰু আল্লাহ এনে নহয় যে, তেওঁ সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতি যুলুম কৰিব, বৰং সিহঁত নিজেই নিজৰ প্ৰতি অন্যায় কৰিছিল।

(১১:৬৭

وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

আৰু যিসকলে অন্যায় কৰিছিল এটা ভীষণ শব্দই সিহঁতক আক্ৰান্ত কৰিলে; ফলত সিহঁতে নিজ নিজ গৃহত নতজানু অৱস্থাত শেষ হৈ গ’ল;

⬇️Note:

 "they became, in their homes, prostrate on the ground". sa'iqah, a "thunderbolt" or the "sound of thunder". Since the same event is described in 7:78 as "violent trembling" (rajfah), which in that context apparently denotes an earthquake, it is possible that the "vehement sound" mentioned here and in several other places describes the subterranean rumbling which often precedes and accompanies an earthquake and/or the thunder like noise of a volcanic eruption (see surah 7:78). However, in view of the repeated use of this expression in varying contexts,  it has the more general meaning of "blast of punishment" or - as in 50:42, where it indicates the Last Hour - of "final blast".

⚫২৯:৪১(THE SPIDER'S WEB IS FRAGILE AND UNSAFE)

مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

যিসকলে আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে বহু অভিভাৱক গ্ৰহণ কৰে, সিহঁতৰ দৃষ্টান্ত মকৰাৰ নিচিনা, যিয়ে ঘৰ বনায়। নিশ্চয় ঘৰৰ মাজত আটাইতকৈ দুৰ্বল ঘৰ হৈছে মকৰাৰ ঘৰ, যদি সিহঁতে জানিলেহেঁতেন।

✍️Verse/Notes:The Spider:

29:41 The example of those who take allies besides God is like the spider, how it makes a home; and the less reliable home is the home of the spider, if they only knew.

Note:

The example is interesting. The spider is not the male one (ankab), but a female one (ankabut). Thus, it might be referring to spiders like the Black Widow that eats their males after having an intimate relationship. (The grammatical structure of the verse is similar to that of 40:20).

(৪০:২০

وَاللَّهُ يَقْضِي بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ لَا يَقْضُونَ بِشَيْءٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

আল্লাহে যথাযথভাৱে ফয়চালা কৰে, আৰু আল্লাহৰ পৰিবৰ্তে সিহঁতে যিবোৰক আহ্বান কৰে সিহঁতে একোৱেই ফয়চালা কৰিব নোৱাৰে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ, তেৱেঁই সৰ্বশ্ৰোতা, সৰ্বদ্ৰষ্টা।)

⚫২৯:৪২

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

নিশ্চয় সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে যিবোৰক আহ্বান কৰে, আল্লাহে সেয়া জানে*, তেওঁ মহাপৰাক্ৰমশালী, প্ৰজ্ঞাময়।

✍️Note*

Lit., "whatever thing they invoke instead of Him": i.e., He knows the nothingness of those false objects of worship, irrespective of whether they be imaginary deities, or deified saints, or forces of nature, or even false concepts or ideas; but He also knows the weakness of the human heart and mind and, hence, the hidden motivation of all such irrational worship.(as).

وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ ۖ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَا إِلَّا الْعَالِمُونَ

আৰু এইবোৰ দৃষ্টান্ত আমি কেৱল মানুহৰ বাবেই দিওঁ, কিন্তু কেৱল জ্ঞানীসকলেই সেয়া বুজি পায়।

৩০:২২

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِلْعَالِمِينَ

আৰু তেওঁৰ নিদৰ্শনাৱলীৰ মাজত আছে আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সৃষ্টি লগতে তোমালোকৰ ভাষা আৰু বৰ্ণৰ বৈচিত্ৰতা। নিশ্চয় ইয়াত জ্ঞানীসকলৰ বাবে আছে বহুতো নিদৰ্শন।

৩৫:২৭

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ

তুমি দেখা নাইনে, আল্লাহে আকাশৰ পৰা পানী বৰ্ষণ কৰে, তাৰ পিছত আমি তাৰ দ্বাৰা বিভিন্ন বৰণৰ ফলমূল উৎপন্ন কৰো। পাহাৰৰ মাজতো আছে বিভিন্ন বৰণৰ স্তৰ, শুভ্ৰ, ৰঙা আৰু গাঢ় ক’লা।

✍️Note:

A knowledgeable person knows that the nature (the system) of the Black Widow spider is that she kills her mate after copulation, this is in addition to the fact that the spider's web is very frail. 

So for both reasons the analogy of accepting protection from other than God can be dangerous is 

quite fitting. Therefore it is unsafe to seek protection from anyone other than God(sig).

⚫২৯:৪৪

خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

আল্লাহেই যথাযথভাৱে আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱী সৃষ্টি কৰিছে*; নিশ্চয় ইয়াত আছে মুমিনসকলৰ বাবে নিদৰ্শন।

I.e., endowed with meaning and purpose: see surah 10:5 note📍. In other words, belief in the existence of a meaning and a purpose underlying the creation of the universe is a logical corollary of ones belief in God.(as).

(১০:৫

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

তেৱেঁই সূৰ্যক দীপ্তিমান আৰু চন্দ্ৰক জ্যোতিৰ্ময় কৰিছে আৰু তাৰ বাবে নিৰ্দিষ্ট কৰিছে বিভিন্ন মনযিল, যাতে তোমালোকে বছৰ গণনা কৰিব পাৰা আৰু সময়ৰ হিচাপ জানিব পাৰা। আল্লাহে এইবোৰ যথাযথ ভাৱেই সৃষ্টি কৰিছে। তেওঁ এইবোৰ নিদৰ্শন বিশদভাৱে বৰ্ণনা কৰে এনে সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ বাবে যিসকলে জানে।

Lit., "God has not created this otherwise than in accordance with truth" - i.e., to fulfil a definite purpose in consonance with His planning wisdom : implying that everything in the universe - whether existent or potential, concrete or abstract - is meaningful, and nothing is "accidental". Cf. 3:191 - "O our Sustainer! Thou has not created [aught of] this without meaning and purpose (batilan)"; and 38:27-"We have not created heaven and earth and all that is between them without meaning and purpose, as is the surmise (zann) of those who are bent on denying the truth").

🔳WORD BY WORD MEANING:

[29:32] He (Abraham) said (Qaala), "Indeed (Inna), Lot (Luutoan) is therein (Fiihaa)." They (the messengers) said 

(Qaalu'), "We (Nah'nu) are aware of (A'lamu Bi) whoever (Man) is therein (Fiihaa)." We will (La) rescue him 

(Nunajjiyanna-hu) and (Wa) his family (Ah'la-hu), except (illa) his wife (Em'ra'ata-hu), she will be (Kaanat')

among (Mina) the passed away (El'Gaabiriin)." 

[29:33] And (Wa) when (Lammaa) Our messengers (Rusulu-naa) came (Jaa'at) to Lot (Luutoan), they were 

mistreated (Siia Bi-him), and (Wa) they were harassed (Doaqa Bi-him), standing (Zar'ån). And (Wa) they (the 

messengers) said (Qaalu'), "Do not (Laa) fear (Takhaf') nor (Walaa) grieve (Tah'zan'). Indeed (Innaa), We will 

rescue you (Munajjuu-ka) and (Wa) your family (Ah'la-ka), except (illa) your wife (Em'ra'ata-ka), she will 

be (Kaanat) among (Mina) the passed away (El'Gaabiriin). 

[29:34] "Indeed (Innaa), We will bring down (Munziluuna) a punishment (Rij'zan) from (Mina) the heaven

(Es'Samaai) upon (Ålaa) the people (Ah'li) of this (Haazihi) town (El'Qar'yati) because (Bimaa) they have been

(Kaanu') acting immoral (Yuf'suquun)."

[29:35] And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') left (Tarak'naa) a clear (Bayyinatan) sign (Aayata) thereof (Min'haa)

for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who reason (Ya'qiluun).

[29:36] And (Wa) to (ilaa) Midian (Mad'yana) their brother (Akhaahum) Shuaib (Shuåi'ban), and (Fa) he 

said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'budu'llaha) and expect (Er'ju') the Last Day 

(El'Yaw'mal' Aakhira) and do not (Walaa) behave wickedly (Ta'thaw') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) as corrupters

(Muf'sidiin)." 

[29:37] But (Fa) they denied him (Kazzabuu-hu), and (Fa) the tremor (Er'Raj'fatu) seized them 

(Akhazat'humu), and (Fa) they started (As'bahu') squatting (Jaathimiin) in (Fii) their homes (Daari-him). 

[29:38] Also (Wa) Ad (46:21) (Åådan) and (Wa) Thamud (27:45)

(Thamuuda), and (Wa) it has (Qad) become 

clear (Tabayyana) to you (Lakum) from (Min) their houses (Masaakini-him). The devil (Es'Shai'toanu) had 

adorned (Zayyana) their deeds (A'maala-hum) to them (Lahumu) and (Fa) turned them away from (Sodda-

hum’ Åni) the way (Es'Sabiili), while (Wa) they were (Kaanu') clairvoyant (Mus'tab'siriin).

[29:39] Also (Wa) Croesus (Qaaruuna), Pharaoh (Fir'åw'na) and (Wa) Haman (Haamaana). And (Wa)

certainly (Laqad') Moses (Muusaa) brought them (Jaa'ahum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati), but (Fa) they became 

arrogant (Es'tak'baru') in (Fii) the land (El'Ar'di), and (Wa) they could not (Maa Kaanu') outdo Us (Saabiqiina).

[29:40] Consequently (Fa) We seized (Akhaz'naa) each (Kullan) for (Bi) his sin (Zanbi-hi); and (Fa) among 

them (Min'hum) was one (Man') to whom (Ålai'hi) We sent (Ar'sal'naa) a storm 1

(Haasiban), and (Wa)

among them (Min'hum) was one who (Man') was seized by (Akhazat'hu) a blast 2

(Es'Soi'hatu), and among 

them (Min'hum) was one whom (Man') We caused the earth (Bihil' Ar'do) to swallow 3

(-Khasaf'naa), and 

among them (Min'hum) was one whom (Man') We drowned 4

(Ag'raq'naa). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) would 

not (Maa) have (Kaana Li) wronged them (Yaz'lima-hum), but (Walaakin) they were (Kaanuu') wronging 

(Yaz'limuun) themselves (Anfusa-hum). 

[29:41] The example (Mathalu) of those who (Ellaziina) take (Ettakhazu') guardians (Aw'liyaa'a) besides 

GOD (Min Duuni-llahi) is like (Ka) the example (Mathali) of a spider (f) (El'Ånkabuuti) who has taken 

(Ettakhazat') a house (Bai'tan). Indeed (Inna), the weakest (Aw'hana) of houses (El'Buyuuti) is (La) the house 

(Bai'tu) of the spider (El'Ånkabuuti)*; if only (Law' Kaanu') they knew (Ya'lamuun). 

[29:42] Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) knows (Ya'lamu) whatever (Maa Min Shai'in) they invoke (Yad'uuna)

besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi). For (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Åziizu), the WISE (El' Hakiim). 

[29:43] And (Wa) these (Til'ka) are the examples (El'Am'thaalu) which We cite (Nad'ribu-haa) for the 

people (Lin' Naasi), but (Wa) none (Maa) understands them (Ya'qilu-haa) except (illa) the knowledgeable

(El'Åålimuun).

[29:44] GOD (Ellahu) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'da) in truth (Bil'

Haqqi). Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for the believers (Lil' Mu'miniin).
